Welcome to AAYSA's Fall Youth Tackle Football Registration!

Youth tackle football is more than just a game — it’s a foundation for growth, teamwork, and character. Our program is built to give young athletes a safe, structured, and competitive environment where they can learn the fundamentals of tackle football while developing confidence, discipline, and leadership skills. Whether your child is new to the sport or looking to take their skills to the next level, our program provides the support, mentorship, and positive culture they need to succeed. Season Dates: June 15th - November 21st - Saturday games begin in September, Playoffs begin in November.  AAYSA Tackle Football is proud to continue its affiliations with North Texas Youth Football for the upcoming 2026 season.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Are there additional costs for football?: The registration fee covers each AAYSA tackle players game uniform, pants, and helmet stickers. All other essential items to participate in the AAYSA tackle program would be on each player to purchase. These costs could vary depending on brands and sizes. Typical first year costs can be $300-$500.
  • What are the volunteer requirements?: All coaches require approval to serve as a coach and must complete a background check as well as a Youth Tackle Football Certification through USAFootball.com. Based on completion of the coach's requirements and availability/need, coaches will be selected for each team. There is no guarantee that all volunteers will be selected due to the limited number of coaches allowed per team.
  • How can I donate to the program?: We have a football fundraiser that you can make a donation to! Our goal is to provide new and more equipment for our young athletes in the football program. We hope to help fill the needs of some of our athletes whose families may be in need of financial assistance as well. Each family is required to complete 2 volunteer hours per registered child per season. These hours may include coaching, admissions/gate entry, event support, concessions, or other approved league activities. Opt-Out Option: Families may choose to opt out of volunteer hours by purchasing the Required Hours Opt-Out option during registration. This option covers the cost of staffing and operations in lieu of volunteer time.
