Fall 2026 Youth Tackle Football

Youth tackle football is more than just a game — it’s a foundation for growth, teamwork, and character. Our program is built to give young athletes a safe, structured, and competitive environment where they can learn the fundamentals of tackle football while developing confidence, discipline, and leadership skills.

Through experienced coaching, age-appropriate training, and a strong emphasis on sportsmanship, we help players grow both on and off the field. From learning proper tackling techniques and game strategy to building lifelong friendships, youth tackle football teaches lessons that extend far beyond Friday night lights.

Whether your child is new to the sport or looking to take their skills to the next level, our program provides the support, mentorship, and positive culture they need to succeed. Join us and be part of a community that believes in hard work, teamwork, and the power of football to shape strong athletes.

Registration: To ensure maximum participation, we are seeking student athletes to compete in the grade they are going in to for the 2026-2027 school year. Please read through the information in each section of the registration* carefully. If you are hesitant to register your student athlete due to a potential wait list, please complete the registration and you will be contacted regarding team placement.

Registration dates for the Fall 2026 Season will be open from April 1st-May 31st. Late Registration** will be open from June 1st- June 15th.

* Refund Policy: There will be a $15.00 administrative processing fee for registration refunds processed prior to registration closing date. Once registration closes, refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Refunds will not be issued after June 24th due to the uniform ordering process.

**Late Registration: There will be a late Registration fee of $40 after the last day of scheduled registration.

For any additional information or questions after completing this registration, please contact the Football Commissioner at: football@aubreyyouthsports.com.

Mandatory Volunteers: Please note that all football athlete families are required to provide volunteer service work of 2 hours per athlete.* The required volunteer service work is not difficult and you will be assisted by others familiar with the tasks needed. This volunteer service work could include but is not limited to: Entry Gate Duty, Concession Stands, Game Announcer, Field Setup/Breakdown, or Post Game Clean-up. The number of required volunteer spots will be determined by the number of home games hosted and the number of players registered. Families who do not complete their required volunteer spots will be assessed a fine of $100 that must be paid prior to future participation in AAYSA programs.

*Volunteer slots must be selected through the volunteer shift link prior to uniform handouts. Athletes will not be issued their uniform until this has been completed.  This is to ensure all volunteer slots are filled prior to the start of the season and the slots must be worked to avoid the fee. There will be an option to pay the fee upfront and waive the volunteer shift requirement at the time of registration.

Scholarships: We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to play, grow, and belong regardless of a family's financial circumstances. If you are dealing with financial hardships, please do not hesitate to inquire about the scholarship application process. For scholarship approvals, 8 volunteer hours are required per athlete who receives a scholarship. This requirement is to be fulfilled during the football season.

WHAT ARE THE TYPICAL UNIFORM/EQUIPMENT RELATED COSTS FOR A TACKLE PARTICIPANT?

The registration fee covers each AAYSA tackle players game uniform, pants, and helmet stickers. All other items such as socks, practice jerseys, cleats, mouthpieces, helmets, shoulder pads, padded shirts, padded girdles, or other essential items to participate in the AAYSA tackle program would be on each player to purchase. These costs could vary depending on brands and sizes. Typical first year costs can be $300-$500. Returning AAYSA tackle players can continue to wear their existing equipment, damage-free, and advance in size as needed.

WHAT STEPS SHOULD I TAKE IF I AM INTERESTED IN COACHING?

All coaches require approval to serve as a coach and must complete a background check as well as a Youth Tackle Football Certification through USAFootball.com.

At the time of registration, there will be the option to sign up to volunteer. Based on completion of the coach's requirements and availability/need, coaches will be selected for each team. There is no guarantee that all volunteers will be selected due to the limited number of coaches allowed per team.
