Little Chaps Basketball - Winter 2026

AAYSA Basketball Registration for 4 & 5 Year Olds Is OPEN!

Hello Parents!

We’re thrilled to announce a special opportunity for our youngest athletes—AAYSA’s 2025–2026 4 & 5 Year Old Co-Ed Basketball Division is here! This is the perfect way to introduce your child to the game in a fun, supportive, and skill-building environment.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Registration opens August 15th and closes September 30th
• Practices begin the week of December 1st
• Saturday morning games start January 10th and run through February

All 4 & 5 year olds will practice together to build foundational basketball skills, teamwork, and confidence. Each Saturday, players will be split into teams for friendly matchups—giving them a chance to show off what they’ve learned and celebrate their progress with family and friends!

Jersey Number:
This season, no jersey number may contain any single digit larger than 5.
Allowable numbers include: 00–05, 10–15, 20–25, etc.

This division is all about fun, fundamentals, and encouragement. No prior experience needed—just bring your energy and excitement!

Basketball - Winter 2026

Hello Parents, it is that time of year again for another great season of AAYSA basketball!

AAYSA 2025-2026 basketball teams will play in the North interlock Basketball League with Sanger and surrounding towns.

Below is some important information you need to know:

• Registration will open August 15th and will close September 30th.
• Practices will begin the week of December 1st.
• Games will begin January 10th with an end of season tournament planned at the end of February.
• Competitive and Developmental divisions will apply to 5th and 6th grade boys and girls teams again this season.
• To ensure a fair and equal (as possible) game play, ALL PLAYERS registered for 5th and 6th grade boys and girls, are required attend a skills evaluation before teams are formed. Dates to be announced soon.
• This season no jersey number may contain any single digit larger than 5 (ex. allowable numbers: 00-5, 10-15, 20-25....)

PLEASE NOTE: if you are a returning player and request your previous coach those requests will still be honored on a first come first serve basis.

Baseball - Fall 2025

WELCOME TO FALL BASEBALL REGISTRATION WITH AAYSA!

A player's "league age" is determined by looking at how old the player will be on or before May 1st, 2026. If you are unsure of what age your child should play, please use the USSSA Baseball Age Calculator.

FALL 2025 SEASON TIMELINE

Teams Formed: 7/20/25

First Day of Practices: 8/11/25 - Possibly sooner depending on Coach / player availability

Game Schedule release: 8/30/25

Games Start: Week of September 8th

Regular Season Ends: 10/31/25

Post Season Tournament (Single Elimination - 8U and above only): Date of tournament - TBD

 LEAGUE PLAY

Our league consists of two divisions across the following towns. East Division - (Aubrey, Pilot Point, and Tioga), West Division - (Krum, Era, Ponder, and Sanger). Majority of the East games will be played in Pilot Point while West games will be played in Ponder / Sanger / Krum. We might have a few East division games played in the West division, but determined by the number of teams we have once registration is closed and teams are formed. The goal is to have 8 games for each team for the Fall season.

 GAME DAYS

The game days for each age group will be determined in late August.

Softball - Fall 2025

Batter Up for Fall Fun with AAYSA Softball! 

Get ready for another awesome season of softball excitement! AAYSA Softball is now open for Fall registration for all young athletes aged 4U to 14U (age determined by the USSSA chart for the 2025-2026 season).

Imagine regular practices to hone those skills, thrilling games, and an end-of-season tournament to celebrate teamwork and achievement! Practice schedules will be set to accommodate coach availability. Game days (historically weekdays and Saturdays) will be announced at the season's start. Get ready for some weekend tournament action too!

Softball rules are governed by USA Softball Official Rules of Fast Pitch Softball, with league approved exceptions/modifications. All modifications will be presented at the beginning of the season.

Volleyball Fall 2025 - Fall I 2025

Volleyball League Information:

• This league is offered in Fall (Aug - Oct), Spring (March - May), and Summer (May - July).

• Age determination will be September 1st of the current school year. 

• Games will be played on Saturdays at McMath Middle School and UNT.
